welcome to my unsent
No matter how long a relationship lasts, it has the power to transform our lives. Some people change us in just a moment's encounter. Others build relationships with us that enrich or torture us (or both) for days or years or a lifetime. We don't always have the opportunity, ability or courage to tell the people that shape our lives what impact they have. But we can achieve a higher level of understanding, peace of mind and growth just by examining our encounters and relationships in new ways. We can even learn to forgive ourselves or others and to set ourselves free, even if the other member isn't willing or able to participate in the process. "My Unsent" is based on the principle that every human encounter can be a meaningful learning experience, and that unsent communication can be a valuable tool in cultivating the life we want.
The blog posts are a collection of my unsent letters, and this site features guests' letters, so we can learn from one another and perfect the art of unsent communication.
